Participants will have the chance to discover the range of personal development opportunities and job options in science. They can also learn about possible research career paths, both the obvious and the not-so-obvious, and talk to experts about how to develop and make the most of their talents.

The 1st EU Talent Fair took place within ESOF2022 in Leiden. It gathered students, scientists—early-stage and more experienced ones—start-ups, industry and investors to promote talented young people and provide employment opportunities in the research sector across the European Union.
The edition in Katowice will be no different than the previous one, aimed at providing
the young generation with employment opportunities in the research sector and increasing the employability of young scientists by equipping them with the necessary market skills. The EU Talent Fair within ESOF2024 is in line with Katowice’s consistently implemented policy
to make science the new industry of the region.
